It is time to have your pressure canner gauge tested before you start canning this year. We are offering a one-day event, April 15, 2021, from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., to come to have yours checked. Please only bring your lid with a dial gauge. There is no need to bring the pot. Only dial gauges need to be tested, weighted gauges should maintain accuracy. If this date does not work for you and you would like to still have your canner checked, email ekmcclure@ncat.edu to set up another date for your gauge to be tested.
