North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services logoEffective April 30, 2020, the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Agronomic Division will begin accepting routine samples from all clients. Anticipated arrival of soil sample analysis and recommendation is 10-14 days,  while the lab will expand operations to include more samples, the gates of the building will only be open Monday through Friday during business hours. Gates will be closed all other hours. The building will continue to be closed to outside customers. As such, anyone seeking large quantities of supplies or that has questions during a site visit need to use the intercom on the dock (next to gray filing cabinet) to speak to the receptionist.

Soil, nematode, tissue, and other sampling supplies are also available from N.C. Cooperative Extension offices located in every county. Contact information for each office can be found on the Our County Center webpage.
