coronavirusN.C. Cooperative Extension is keeping up-to-date on COVID-19 (Coronavirus). There have been many resources developed to help the community understand what is going on. It is in all our best interest to follow the guidelines the CDC has set and our local county government. If you have a specific concern, please contact the Extension office, by phone or email, and we will find the answer for you. Below is a link sending you to FAQ about the virus and how it is related to food safety. Please review and know that these resources are being updated, as the University is always finding more up-to-date information and research that is being done.

If you decide to research information on your own, remember not every website is research/fact-based.

Stick with websites that end in .gov or .edu. If you are looking at a website that ends in .org just know that it is an organization and their information could be biased. When a website ends in .gov it is being paid for by you, the taxpaying citizen. Those websites are research-based and you can trust them. #inthistogether
